Wet Grinding & Processing Plants

Wet grinding and washing represent core competencies in CEMTEC’s mineral processing portfolio. Our wet grinding plants are engineered for applications requiring size reduction in a liquid medium—typically water—with the goal of achieving precise particle size control, product uniformity, and slurry handling efficiency. We offer a wide range of wet grinding technologies, including ball mills, rod mills, and autogenous (AG) or semi-autogenous (SAG) mills, each selected and dimensioned based on the specific characteristics of the feed material and the targeted product quality. These systems can be operated in closed or open circuit, often in combination with hydrocyclones or other classification equipment.

Beyond grinding, CEMTEC also supplies complete scrubbing and washing units. These plants are designed to remove impurities such as clay, soluble salts, or organic matter from raw materials prior to further processing. Especially in the beneficiation of ores and industrial minerals, mechanical scrubbing is a critical step for ensuring final product quality.

Our wet grinding and washing plants are always developed in close cooperation with our clients, taking into account process-specific requirements such as throughput, retention time, slurry density, and downstream integration. From feasibility studies to commissioning, CEMTEC ensures that every solution is robust, efficient, and tailored for the task.
